Lesson 1 - How Do You Measure Up??
People want to get fit, eat healthy and maintain good energy levels. The amount of conflicting information and hearsay in the media can confuse anyone. Only a recognized fitness training course will provide you with credible information on how and why to eat right and work out right. In lesson 1, you will find out why it is so important to eat well and exercise regularly to maintain your physical fitness, mental health.
Lesson 2 - Cardiovascular exercise
To be able to guide health enthusiasts, what fitness entails, or to plan a routine, a personal training course is very essential and critical to break the myths around the most misused types of exercise – Cardio (Cardiovascular exercise). Lesson 5 - Understanding fat loss and body shape as a personal trainer
Fat loss is not just about creating a calorie deficit. If you negatively affect your hormones from either overtraining or lack of fuel, then you will slow down and even stop your fat loss. In this lesson, you will learn how to properly manage your diet, priorities, and daily habit to optimise your hormone levels along with the important role fat loss plays in body shape.
Lesson 6 - Controlling your body shape
In this lesson, we piece together what you have learnt so far and how this knowledge will help you control your weight, body shape and energy levels long term. We will also look at what changes you need to make to get from higher body fat levels to moderate and lean body fat levels through practical meal planning.
Lesson 7 - Injury prevention and recovery
Creating awareness about injury prevention and recovery is the hallmark of a credible personal trainer. While health enthusiasts obsess around health and fitness, they often forget about injury prevention that can happen due to wrong postural imbalances of a sedentary lifestyle or limited mobility. In this lesson, we look at the importance of mobility not just for your training and recovery but also for your daily life.
Lesson 8 - Barriers to your results
Even in the most detailed individual fitness program, there are common barriers that can stop people from achieving their desired results. In the last lesson of module 1, we look at overcoming stress, how to add fitness into your life and making sure that one enjoys the whole process.
Module II - Master Your body and mind
Week 1: Goal Setting And Tracking Results
While good health and fitness is everyone’s desired goal, it is not a short term stunt in fits and starts. A good trainer backed with a good personal trainer certification will chart out goals and plans which are realistic and achievable while being positive and enjoyable. Week 2: Making Health Your No.1 Priority

Module III - Nutrition for optimal health
Week 1: Establishing and customizing your calories and macros
This lesson in personal training will guide you with the importance of an individual’s macro-based diet for optimal weight loss. You will learn how to track the calories (specifically maintenance calories) and also to determine how to efficiently achieve weight loss based on the diet and lifestyle.
Week 2: Meal Planning For Desired Results
Being unprepared and pressed for time increases our chances of making a poor food choice. Meal planning is needed for optimal results and encouraging discipline, which is needed for weight loss and fitness. This part of the personal training module will teach you how to customise meal plans for the various results your students will be looking for.
Week 3: Pre/ Post Workout Nutrition

Week 4: Progressing And Adjusting Your Meal Plan

Week 2: Nutrition And Training In Your 20’S / 30’S / 40’S / 50’S
Most people don’t realise that nutrition and training in your 20’s are completely different from in your 40’s. In this lesson, we learn to master our body’s health and fitness at any age so we can maximise the health benefits we work so hard to achieve.
Week 3: Advanced Fat Loss For Men And Women
There are many different reasons why men and women lose weight differently. In this last lesson in the advanced course, we look at specific training, nutrition and recovery methods which optimize fat loss for both sexes.
Week 4: Planning Fitness For Pregnancy, Old Age, And Life
Through your life, you may come across an injury, health problems or other life circumstances that may limit your ability to exercise in certain ways. In this last lesson, we look at the most common life obstacles we come across and how to plan your fitness around them.
